Text Box: Hybrid KTM 65/50 2009 SEMRA Formula 1 Champion! This bike started life as a 2006 KTM 65SX. The bike was then modified for roadracing. The engine was modified to accept a KTM Pro Sr. top end. With the stock bore 50 cylinder and 65cc bottom end, the bike displacement is 49.9cc. Kling Racing ported the cylinder and shaped the combustion chamber for roadracing application. Suspension was set-up by David Behrend from Ohlins. Nathan McDonald won the Formula 1 2008 Mini-Roadracing National Championship on this bike! Nathan will also be campaigning the 2009 Formula 1 SEMRA Championship with this bike. Text Box: Cobra CX65SM 2009 SEMRA Kids Expert Champion! For 2010, Kling Racing & Development will again be campaigning two Cobra CX65SM’s in the SEMRA championship. These are photos of our brand new 2009 CX65. So far, this bike is stock, as delivered from the factory. We are in the process of evaluating the 2009 and comparing it to the 2008 before any changes are made. Initial impressions are excellent! This bike is very fast!
